Calcium ascorbate is a non-acidic form of vitamin c and helps to reduce free radical damage to cell membranes. It may help to maintain immune function and alleviate symptoms associated with histamine reactions. Vitamin c is also used to enhance the absorption of dietary iron and the maintenance and repair of skin and connective tissue.
